Boats up to 18m length
Our category “B” course teaches you everything you need to know to safely drive boats up to 18 metres in length. This includes boats with no restrictions on propulsion power and a maximum distance of 12 nautical miles from the nearest coast.

Course duration 4 days
The course covers basic maritime laws and teaches boat identification both day and night. You will learn how to orientate and navigate on the nautical chart and how to tie knots and slings. In addition, the use of VHF radios is covered in detail to ensure comprehensive and safe navigation.

Our category ‘B’ course covers everything you need to know for the carefree operation of boats up to 18 metres in length, with no restrictions on propulsion power and a maximum distance of 12 nautical miles from the nearest coast. Although the course is open to all, the minimum age for the exam is 16.
The usual course duration is 4 days, two hours per day or by arrangement. The price is 320 euros, including all necessary learning materials. Main elements of the course: Basic maritime laws, identification of boats by day and night, orientation and general navigation on the nautical chart, knots and slings and the use of VHF / VHF radios.
